Why does a salad cost more than a hamburger?

Nothing drives me more nutters than when someone says that vegetables are too expensive. They are not- it’s just the government doesn’t pay for spinach, collards and kale the same way it pays for meat, dairy, soy and corn. If you know the source of this image, let me know!
