Now isn’t this just the most brilliant thing I have come up with since last Friday’s chocolate covered kale chips.
For Passover last week, my momma made a great big beautiful dinner. The main event however was a turkey and I’m not a huge turkey lover. How I love California. I have spent such special time there in the last four and a half years. I have been down thrice in the last seven months alone! This last time, however, was extra special as my love sweet love was there with me. Got to show him all my favourite spots, and experience the place that helped me heal, for himself.

Happy Friday everyone! What a week I had… As I do my best to keep warm I can’t help but spend a little time everyday looking through the heated goodness from the month of retreating I did in St. Lucia. I know everyone loves peeping at pics (isn’t that what Facebook is all about!?)

Right? I believe I must use the stylings of Depeche Mode to truly describe how I feel…

And here concludes what I am affectionately referring to as Season 1 of Making Love In The Kitchen. Together we have learned the ways of the farm, cleansed some cupboards, made pumpkin soup in costume, tossed black licorice into a fire, toured my grandmother’s freezer, blended up some nut milk, past out apples to strangers, [...]
