I am squinting my eyes as I look out the window and through a small crack in the clouds I think… wait… yes… YES! I blink of sunshine! If you live anywhere near me, than you are feeling this hum-dee-dum grayness drag on.
For this reason and many others, I am hopping on board with whoever wants to play along for my famous and ever popular Green Smoothie Cleanse starting this Saturday, May 7th. Now I know, many of you have Mother’s Day stuff going on Sunday, but allow yourself some flexibility here. 3 days of just Green Smoothies, may be more than you ever have an interest in doing.

The weather today has just gotten to me. These howling winds, and dark rain clouds. What is up with that?!?! As we come to the end of the month when things are supposed to be lightening up and warming up, I am feeling a bit like it is time to lighten the winter load and get some serious Spring in my step.
Are you with me? Can you hear me? ARE YOU WITH ME?!?!?!

Here is how our Fresh Start Spring Program is going to go down. Now, you best be picking up what I am putting down here.
As we move into Green Smoothie mode, we’re probably beginning to realize that when on the cleanse, there isn’t much difference between what we eat for breakfast compared to what we eat for dinner. Actually, in many cultures, there is no difference. Whoever decided that a bagel and orange juice was breakfast, well, he didn’t do us any favours.
Josh and I have a super nerdy nutritionist game that we play. It goes like this:
Josh: “Hey Megs, Would you like a cup of tea”.
Meghan: “ I sure would!”
J: “What kind?”
M: “You’ll do the right thing”.
I love my Vitamix. In fact, I don’t know anyone who owns one who doesn’t love it. Not a day goes by that I don’t hear the sweet whirring of the greatest room-mate I may ever have. Now, because I love my Vitamix so much, and because I love it so much I got my mother to get one and at long last got my man to pick one up too, I wanted you to have one also.
