A couple of weeks ago, a good friend commented on her status about taking her evening dose of psyllium. Now, I know of many people who have a cup of coffee first thing in the morning to get things moving. I do this too sometimes, but it’s not what you think.

Are you ready to talk enemas? I do think it’s time. If you have my Green Smoothie Cleanse you have likely seen my little one pager on the importance of and how to with a regular enema. I don’t include this information because I am some insane nutritionista without a grasp on what peeps are really willing to do for their health.

One of the challenges in our 21 Days To Health program is to eliminate and/or reduce the use of daily cosmetic or personal care products in favour of a safer, more natural ones. In my post last week, I asked the question about What Stinks In My Panty Hose where I question how I could still smell a perfume in a pair of tights, seven years later. An interesting discussion came up as the Question that day was about what product is the toughest to give up or change.

Are You Ready For Health?

You are! You are for sure!!!

We all know that creating a super powered community around healthy living is the surest way to:

1. Make it stick
2. Make it fun
3. Make us not feel like total and complete social outcasts.

This is why the “group” component of my group coached programs, using my eBooks as a guide to follow, is so flippin’ fun and equally important, so deliciously effective and sustainable.

I spent New Year’s Day at a smoothie party where we feasted on collard wraps and super smoothies and elixirs. It was awesome, especially after a night known for indulgence and boozing, to share a lazy afternoon with like minded peeps. It is rather insane that it is more socially acceptable to smoke cigarettes than drink raw chocolate drinks. It is strange that we feel people need convincing to ‘eat healthy’, which seems like it should be the only way people should want to eat, or that being the ‘healthy one’ becomes the hindrance when friends and family are putting together a menu for a meal.

It is just about the 1 year anniversary of when I first launched the 3 Day Green Smoothie Cleanse Program. I have been taking a walk down memory lane and came across this post, written just over a year ago. Looking back on my smoothies then, I am pretty pleased that despite how super powered my smoothies used to be, I continue to take them further as time goes on. It’s a little reminder for us all that we have to work with where we’re at and just keep moving ahead step by step.

Uh oh? Is it too early in the week to get a little serious about our health? Never!

Cancer.

Who the hell isn’t afraid of it? It’s one of those creeper diseases that we don’t truly understand in so many cases, but that seems to pop into our lives and those we love most, when we least expect it.

Is it possible to prevent it 100%? Of course not! Is anything 100% in this sweet perfect world? Nope. That’s what makes life the sweet adventure with all the ups and downs. These are my thoughts on the matter.

When I was sick with Crohn’s, Colitis, IBS or whatever the doctor I was currently seeing wanted to call it, I wanted to do everything I could to make it go away. Once I got well, I wanted to do everything I could to keep it gone away. I figured, once I knew what worked for me to heal and maintain remission, why on earth would I want to jeopardize that for some silly little craving for salty buttered popcorn or toasted bagels and butter? The way I saw it, it would totally bite the big one if I got sick all over again and knew, in my heart, that there were things I did that fully contributed to a recurrence of the disease.
