So while I was off adventuring and mocking silly trail signs (see pic above) I called out for your help. Did I get some deliciously awesome Summer Recipe Guest Bloggers to step-up and share their sweet summer treats.
Now, I want to know which you liked best. You have until the end of the day Friday to cast your vote. Anyone who posts a comment below with their vote will automatically be entered to win the Box Set Collection of e-tutorials (valued at $99) as will the Guest Blogger that gets the most votes.

I love loved the Raw Trip to the French Countryside… Single recipes are nice, but sometimes it’s also a treat to see how others put a menu together, too. And a set of raw, interesting and simple dishes is wonderful for the summertime heat!
Great point- must think about that with my own posts too.
I also liked the Raw trip to the French Countryside. I’ve been dabbling in the raw food world and it was fun to see some recipes. I also checked out her website, her business looks awesome, wish there was something like that down here in the states!
Her business IS awesome, and we have since gone for lunch and she is even more awesome than her recipes and her business.
Curried caper dressing! I rarely actually make dressing- usually just flax/EVOO it with a little acid and salt/pepper, but this one is worth actually preparing dressing. Yummy, yummy flavors- and great example of curry being used in a non-Indian-specific way
Coconut kefir! I am making that this week
But really, I liked that really cute deer the best.
Ps. Thanks for advising me to bring warm socks to the farm…It went down to 6 one night!!!
Oh LORDISA how much do I love the curried caper salad dressing? So much that I have not been able to stop making it since I tried it when the post first went up. I’ve gotten a bunch of other people addicted to it, as well! It makes salad a treat!
Love hearing that!
I like the coconut kefir recipe. The other ones are great too, but I’m less inclined to make them.
A Raw Trip To The French Countryside! tried and loved the gelato
Yafa! I’ve been meaning to have that dinner since you posted it.
I’m free for dinner anytime!
I haven’t made ANY of them yet, but the coconut kefir and the rosemary bars have been printed out and are on my “to do” list. I’ve been rocking the kombucha this summer, actually.
Go make them already Kendra!
I’m gonna make the pineapple date bars mmmmmmmmmm I have some barhi dates that screamin’ to meet pineapple!
I used to live in Ucluelet on the west coast! Looking at those pics of yours made me miss it! Sooooooo beautiful… We are blessed by this Country <3
I could see how you would miss it. I do too and I was only there for a week.
I have to choose? Oh, dear. Um. I guess I appreciate the Coconut Kefir article the best, but man, oh, man, they all sound great. I can taste them all through the words as I read them.
They all sound so good, but my favourite, and one I’ll use again is the caper tahini dressing. Great idea ! Thank you so much for all the recipes. Your guest posts were all great. I haven’t tried them all yet, but give me time !
Raw Trip to the French Countryside was my favorite. I already adore raw recipes, and it was just cool to see a whole menu put together for a hot summer. I live in Texas and I don’t turn on my stove for months at a time. It be hot!
Your vacation looks like it was a blast, you’re inspiring me to make a getaway!
My favorite treat from your guest bloggers was the Rosemary Sea Salt Bikini Bars. They were delicious especially with fresh rosemary right from my garden. They were even better after they had spent a day or two in the fridge so that all of the flavors came together.
Always love new recipes to try out!
Gail
My favourite recipe is the Rhubarb Summer Muffins!!!
And as I look I see I’m the first vote for the muffins… hmmm, since I made twelve of them does that mean Erin gets twelve votes?
After reading the rest of the comments I am hoping that I have some capers in my cupboard, that dressing sounds like it was a hit!!
Curried Caper Tahini Dressing!! Amazing!
I grilled up a bunch of veggies and topped it with this sauce and it was heaven on a plate!!
Amazing summer photos.
Most inspired by the Coconut Kefir.
I’d have to say the Coconut Kefir. But all the guest bloggers did a great job and all the recipes look fantastic.
So diplomatic Jody
I vote for cherry peppermint popsicles because its get the kids (big and little) away from the ready-made stuff and opens our eyes and hearts to healthier possibilities. Cheers!
BTW – I posted your forest “bed” photo on my desktop – Ill use that lovely location to meditate to while I break with my lemon tea. What an amazing location!
Ha! Love that. I should probably do the same.
loved them all but i’m going coconut kefir.

coconut kefir were so tasty!
Hi Meghan,
I have to vote for the Coconut Kefir post. The others are totally lovely too, but I feel like non-dairy probiotics are especially GROUNDBREAKING!! I’ve missed yogurt and many dairy products for years for digestive reasons and I was so over the moon to know that we can still partake and reap the benefits of such an important, tummy-friendly food AND tasty recipes in which to enjoy them.
) Don’t have to be a slave to expensive probiotic capsules either! Very, very empowering. I don’t think many people know this is an option…this was BEYOND exciting.
)
Many thanks for opening my eyes,

Remember those photos? Forget that- so far I have 6 weeks scheduled for winter getaways. Mostly “working”. That’s what my retreats are for. Excuses for me to escape the winter and have awesome company with me while I do

Rhubarb muffins! I love rhubarb and this is a great guilt-free way to enjoy it.
So funny that you mock trail signs too. I have a picture similar to yours from my hiking holiday in Alberta last Fall.
