I love my Vitamix. In fact, I don’t know anyone who owns one who doesn’t love it. Not a day goes by that I don’t hear the sweet whirring of the greatest room-mate I may ever have. I didn’t know I could get a refurbished one–I’m going to have to look into that!

Your green smoothie looks so healthful, but I notice there is no fruit or juice in it, so I gotta ask: what does it taste like?

I have a Blendtec and I love it! I went for it over the Vitamix because of the shorter height (so it fits on my counter under the cupboards) and because the wet and dry are the same container.
Definitely makes it hard for me to make smoothies in other people’s (non-high powered) blenders now!
I’ve also heard that the Blendtec is more powerful and easier to clean than the Vitamix.
I am a Vitamix lover all the way. Love the manual control and to clean you just fill it with water, a drip of soap, turn it on and voila! Clean.
