It is ongoing and can benefit us beyond any other healthy living practice. When we change our mind about how we look on something, smooth sailing is our state. [...]

Answer: Long walk.

The best way for me to get calm and clear my mind is to be near nature and especially water. I live near a ravine, which is great (Winston Churchill Park and Cedarvale ravine), but don't have regular access to a body of water that isn't a stream. Sometimes I miss living in Etobicoke South because I lived a half block from the lake. I would sometimes sit on a rock and meditate or swing on the swing set and look out over the lake. The Martin Goodman Trail was a short walk away.
I think that my connection to water is because I'm a pisces. :)
