I have a near obsession with reading ingredient labels. And don’t you know I was itching to find out what was in that magical potion above when I saw it in a market shop in St. Lucia. It took me a long time to clue in to the fact that I should be reading ingredient labels of more than just my food. What a wake-up call that was.
We have played “Guess The Ingredient List” before when it came to scary packaged foods. Now it’s time for a little cosmetic style. Please play honestly (that means no googling!). I don’t expect you to get the product and the brand but if you do, bonus!

My first thought was cleanser, guess I was pretty close if the makeup remover is the correct answer!
How about facial cleanser? This just reminded me I used to use ProActiv about 5 years ago. My sis-in-law told me it bleaches your skin so I stopped using it but I used it for at least a year and man that stuff was strong! So scary…!
I was just in Goodness Me in Hamilton on Sunday with my Mom looking at skin care products. We were writing all the names down to check them with the Environmental Working Group (thanks for this link)so that I could buy a “healthier” mascara. So, based on all my searching in the database, I’m going to guess make-up remover or toner.

Yes, most ingredients are part of some cleaning solutions that could be found on the shelf in stores.
