It started up again after that event I went to a few weeks back and sampled some of the best Kale chips of my life. I have since been trying all kinds of different, delicious toppings and every single one has been a delicious hit. I have realized that you can pretty much put any thing on these awesome, dry them out and voila- you have the perfect crunchy delicious and oh so healthy substitute for chips.

So consider this Way Two of Kale Chips 5 Ways. You can find Way One here and the rest will be following over the coming weeks. To tantalize your taste buds- we've got an Asian Macrobiotic Sesame chip, A Sour Cream and Onion (with neither sour cream, nor onion) and a Spicey Nacho Cheese (again- no nachos or cheese). And wow are they all fantastic and if you are free this Sunday, you can sample one of the many awesome varieties I have been coming up.

That when she sits to read this blog here, she learns something, gets inspired and celebrates the life that I am sharing with all of you. I therefore decided that you, my sweet readers, should know of a major shift happening my life.

I am officially saying good-bye to my faithful flowered bicycle whom I have affectionately referred to as Betty for over seven sweet, and completely life changing years. Through it all, Betty was by my side, or rather- under my bottom- getting me where I needed to go. She has had a long, well appreciated life me- but it is time to put her down.

What I didn't mention was my most fave benefit of regular kombucha sipping- it balances me right on out.

Kombucha is an incredible adaptogen, which basically means it adapts to what is going on in the body, and then works to balance that out. Just as in life-sometimes we can ride that rollers coaster, but as Zoey explains, "with a little conscious manoeuvring we can usually come back to center, Kombucha effectively works the same way, but on a physiological level, adapting our ph balance and immune efforts".

Love that.

But Kombucha is back and available health-food stores the continent over so there is no excuse not to have this liver-cleansing, enzyme packed fizzly refreshing bevvy as part of your day... or night. I love the idea of sipping on this instead of alcohol. Health promoting say heeeey!

Josh and I work tirelessly to continue learning, experimenting, discovering and sharing to help our clients feel their super best. Health is our birthright and health begins with digestion.

Many of our clients are those that suffer from digestive conditions like Crohn's, Colitis, Celiac, IBS, Leaky Gut or Candida. This is because when something affects our stomach and digestive system directly, it is easy to connect it with the food we're eating. What about chronic headaches, PMS, insomnia, inflammation or respiratory challenges? Could the imbalances that contribute to these chronic and epidemic conditions also start in the digestive tract too? Yeppers!

As Josh mentions in the above video, it all begins with digestion. We are what we eat and we need to be properly digesting our food and assimilated the nutrients in order for our body to fuel itself, not to mention heal and repair.

I will go in order.

1. Cherry Blossoms

Yes. Today is the day we celebrate this great green earth. Earth day seems as random to me as mother's day, father's day, family day and valentine's day. Do we really need a reminder to appreciate our parents, the sweet purity of love, family and the planet on which we live? Seems so.

Given that it is Earth Day, I wanted to show you some sweet appreciation I had for this fair season we call Spring when an entire grove of Cherry Blossom trees over in High Park are in bloom. Oh this was delicious sight after the long pink flower-free winter!
