5 Days Healing with Everyday Superfoods Challenge begins this Sunday, April 18th followed by 3 Day Green Smoothie Cleanse on April 23rd. Get your tutorials and follow me on Twitter for group coaching throughout the challenge. Let’s Spring clean from the inside out together!
Are you ready? Ready to go 5 Days Superfood powered? Now I am not asking because it is going to be hard. Though it might be an adjustment to be preparing meals and what not. I am asking if you are ready to feel this amazing? To feel really powered up? Increased energy, reduced bloaty mcmloatsters, shed a few poundages, sleep better, elevated mood…. Why wouldn’t you want to? And if you choose to follow the 5 Days Superfoods with the 3 Day Green Smoothie Cleanse, well than, you are in for a treat!
Speaking of treats, this brittle, though it is made with 100% super-powered superfoods is so awesomely amazing that it will taste like a decadent treat. If you do nothing else during this 5 day challenge but make this, and have a little everyday, you are already adding a massive amount of super-powered nutrition to your life. You are not limited simply to adding ‘flare’ as our guest blogger referred to her superfood mix on Tuesday, but you can use this raw chocolate dipping sauce for fruit, to drizzle over your fave cookies, or perhaps even your coconut milk ice cream. Imagine… eating MORE chocolate, and getting healthier.
I am sure you can think of all kinds of amazing things to do with a warm, melted chocolate sauce, but I will leave that to your sweet and super-powered imaginations. Oh, hmmm…. did I mention what these superfoods do for your libido, circulation, nervous system and hormone balance? Just saying… its up to your sweet imagination.
This chocolate Dipping Sauce is the same one we used last week for the chocolate covered strawberries
Superfood Chocolate Brittle

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: None
Ingredients (Serves 4)
- 1/3 cup cacao powder
- ¼ cup coconut oil
- 3 Tbs raw honey
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
Blend together or melt together over low heat using a double boiler method (large pot with water, smaller pot inside the larger pot for melting chocolate- keeping direct heat away from pot with chocolate).
Then mix in your ‘flair’- coconut, pumpkin seeds, goji berries, cacao nibs… whatever you have around.
Lay out on a cookie sheet and stick in the freezer to harden
Break into pieces and enjoy… but not all at once!

Oh Yum!!! This sounds and looks amazing! I will definitely give it a try when I can get my hands on some raw cacao powder. I use the nibs all the time, but have had a hard time finding the powder. Maybe I should just grind up some nibs!!
You could always grind the nibs down in your coffee grinder- also- can order the powder online from Navitas or Upaya- both linked over on the right column of this site.
Meghan, you dearest, darling mind reader. Earlier this week I was eyeing a less-than-perfect pear in my fruit bowl. I thought a little chocolate dipping sauce would perk the sad little thing right up, but all the recipes I found had corn syrup. Yuck! Thanks so much for your awesome recipe. You rock!
What a wonderful way to add superfoods into your diet! I bet no one can resist those pieces of heaven. Thanks so much for sharing!
Hi Meghan, I bought your tutorial and love it-learning lots! Can I follow the challenge without twitter? Not quite sure how that part works. Also, I missed the coupon code to save 15% on a seconf tutorial – wanted to get the hormonal guide-is it too late now??
happy weekend!
Patrizia
I love this recipe and great that it’s all natural. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for another great recipe to use some raw cacao…yumm!
You’re adorable. I laughed hard at “…Now, there’s many things you can do with chocolate…I’ll leave that to your imagination. But, um, I’m home alone. So…” Poor Josh was missing out, and now we know what else you do with chocolate.
I love it!
Why wouldn’t everyone want to eat superfoods!!!!!
I’m working on my parents….this should do it:)
Perfect transitional food! My mom is making all the treats for my dad first- than sneaking in the other goodies.
I found it (the Navitas cacao powder) at Wholefoods in Oakville yesterday! Yay! I will be making this tomorrow! Very excited
I’ll definitely let you know how it turns out!
Evan just made something very similar with nuts and seeds, he did not see this post (just intuitively made it up). It doesn’t last long
