It is no secret that I have been massively inspired by the high vibe events that feature our beloved Rawk Star himself, David Wolfe. You could of course read about him here, here and here. So after another inspiring Spring Cleansing and Renewal event hosted by Toronto Sprouts last week, I thought it time you meet some of the other delicious cast of characters that make up Toronto’s ever growing fun-filled super-powered raw food community.

Ron and Nadine of Living Libations

I first met Ron and Nadine last Summer up at their beautiful home in Haliburton and wrote about them here.  Everything they do is about sweet sensuous love from Ron’s un-super-believable amazing chocolate to Nadine’s sweet and light love potion worthy essential oils and blends. Here’s how it works. You spritz and spratz yourself all over with one of her many delicious goodies (might I recommend this one)

And look how hot and delicious this couple is!

Two Girls Cooking

These chiquittas are cute as can be. The two girls behind Two Girls Cooking and I went to the same school for nutrition- though we never met there. These ladies produce raw , organic , gluten-free, vegan snack foods . Win, win and win!  As holistic nutritionists, you know they know what their doing, and so have developed our products using only quality ingredients that are naturally high in fibre and naturally sweet, with no added sugar. Dehydrating their products below 115 °F, ensures all of the naturally occurring vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and deliciousness within vibrant whole foods are preserved. I suppose calling themselves Two Girls Dehydrating just wouldn’t have been as catchy.

The Fairy’s Tonic
At long last this delicacy of a bevvy is available in Whole Foods in Toronto and Oakville. Zoey, the Kombucha fairy herself will be stopping by the Love In The Kitchen headquarters soon soon soon to show me how it’s all done. Her drink is totally authentic, locally produced and for sure my fave choice. Each batch of Fairy’s Tonic enlivening elixir tea contains an array of antioxidants, B vitamins and living enzymes. The synergy of these beneficial nutrients empower the bodies own natural ability to balance and renew itself, generating a strong immune system and a healthy vigor. Check back soon for our kombucha making video!

Bob and E3Live
I first met Bob last summer at Ron and Nadine hideaway. This was a sweet sharing affair and Bob was well in on the sweet and sharing when he passed me a sample of his awesome, home made wild leek pesto. Since then, every time I see Bob, he has some fabulous new goody to share. Beyond the intestinal health promote range of E3Live products, this last visit had Bob tell me all about the magic of Moore Mud. He sourced this mud over yonder near Ottawa. This mud helps draw inflammation out of the body, soothes and cleanses. Loved it and heart Bob!

Essene Bread
This is what ‘baked’ goods are supposed to be. They are whole, they are dense and they are not actually baked at all. Try their breads, try their brittles. These 100% sprouted certified organic grain breads, are actually made without flour- just the whole grains themselves.  Sprouted breads are awesomely delicious ways of getting oodles of protein while consuming fewer calories, and no pesticide residues or chemical additives. Yay delicious!

While at the event I indulged in many wonderously wonderful foods too. I topped up my supply of some of The Best Foods ever and dined lightly and raw courtesy of Raw Aura. All I know is that if these are the sweet and delicious peeps that Dave Wolfe surrounds himself with, I will stick close by and be very well fed.
