This picture has absolutely nothing to do with anything in this post accept that it is my excuse for not having a post up bright and early this morning as per usual. I spent the weekend up in the the Northern Ontario woods snowshoeing my way into the heart of a very special medicinal mushroom. More on that to come. In the meantime, I am long overdue for making some extra super powered special announcements on upcoming events, retreats, an affiliate program and even some contest winners.
Contest Winner: 5 Days Vegan
5 Days Vegan was a smash success! We had oodles of participants tweeting and blogging and that makes me happy. If you will recall, I added a little incentive to the challenge, where if you posted yourself as a participant, you had the chance to win a “Feel Good? Feel Great!” tank and officially join the pink team.
The winner of the tank is Monica @ Sincerely, Nutrition. She didn’t always have an easy time, but she stuck with it and saw some delicious healthy results in a very short time. Great work to everyone who played along.
The next challenge is coming up March 21st with 5 Days Low GI and if all goes as planned, that one will be followed up with a brand shiny new program (to be revealed)

New Retreat!!!
It is true that this week I am signing the contract for TWO retreat next year in St. Lucia. One will run the week of January 23rd to January 30th (ladies only) and the second will be February 13th – 20th (the gents are welcome here!), but that is not the retreat I am talking about. June 25th-27th myself and a special colleague of mine will be running a weekend digestive healing and nourishment retreat at a retreat centre just 90 minutes outside of Toronto. The details are being ironed out right now but registration should be open next week. This retreat will be for peeps who suffer from any and all manner of digestive challenges, the peeps who support them and/or any practitioners looking to gain greater insight into how to work with clients or patients who suffer from these challenging conditions. The weekend will be complete with food demos, seminars, yoga, meditation, vegetarian food and the great outdoors. Mark your calendar.

I am so excited to hear more about the Toronto area retreat. I was recently diagnosed with a digestive disorder and I think this retreat will be the perfect thing for me.
Meghan, would you please, please consider doing a retreat out west (perhaps Vancouver). I’m sure you have a tonne of followers out this way that would love to meet you.
