Back home and wow did I have a fantastic sleep last night. Up and at’em and off to yoga, my love of the practice and dedication to it fully renewed. I had a sweet week in California and came home to an email in my inbox that read:

“CONGRATULATIONS on your success in the People’s Health Blogger Awards Competition — your readers have spoken, and you’ve been chosen as the Top Blogger in the Healthy Cooking community.  What a great tribute to you, and a wonderful recognition for your blog!”

So great big THANK YOU to everyone, all 197 of you who took the time to vote. Your comments absolutely blew me away and as I read them all I could think is- wow, I want to meet that girl they’re talking about, she sounds nifty-neat and super-swell.  Being the top blogger in the healthy cooking community I suppose means I should get back to cooking. I am thinking we will be focussing on light meals over the next little while to help balance out all the heaviness of holiday meals and I will also address the reader question on what you can do when your family (or boyfriend’s family) serves crap for a meal and calls it food.

So if you missed the week away from food and are looking for a little something to nourish other aspects of your life,

Here is the recap:

See you Monday!
