There I am! That was in the day that I arrived so I am mildly peaked and still hanging on to things (such as my bag, or maybe my right boob) too tightly as we do when we get wound up. This was taken as Alyssa and I were walking back from Whole Foods, all loaded up with good food. I made her take this picture because it was a glowing pink tree, something you don’t see every day in Toronto… in December. Ah…. nature. Beautiful yes? Yesterday Dr. Ha said the very same thing to me. That all things, in their natural state, are most beautiful. Kind of like how I said the other day that we look our best when we’re relaxed, healthy and happy and wouldn’t you know that those three states of being are our birthright? Yes, yes they are. Kind of like how a mountain’s natural state is to stand tall, and maybe show off a dusting of snow and a tree’s natural state is to both stand tall, and bloom beautiful blossoms, shed their leaves and do it all over again. Our natural state is to be silicone-free and smiling- to be beautiful inside and out whatever that might mean for whoever you may be.
On my very first vision board, there was a statement I posted across the top that read “Beauty is everywhere, we all deserve to see it”. The way I see it, beauty is everywhere and most often we are too busy to pay attention. I have taken very few pictures since being here as this trip was about going inside, not making sure I had a cute outfit on in the event someone posted a photo on Facebook. I did, however, take my camera with me for my sunrise walk this morning (though the last three were taken at the end of the day). And beauty I did find, in abundance. Next week, I think I might give this a go on my walk around my neighbourhood in Toronto and see what I come up with.
Home I go today. Has been perfectly sweet but there is never ever any place like home! Will be back to nutrition and cooking next week
That would be Mr. Sun, Sun, Mr. Golden Sun.
One day I will own a coconut bearing version.
Shame that I left my board at home.

Beautiful pics, thanks for sharing…made me take a much needed deep breath
Absolutely stunning.
Beautiful pictures.
It makes me look forward to my upcoming trip to Florida, where I’ll be able to enjoy the warmth of Mr. Sun myself
Meghan, your photos are all so well done but I’m especially tempted to do a huge, sort of abstract painting of sun n’ sand
Beautiful and Stunning photo’s. We are a tad bit spoiled out west… we see this beauty everyday! Once again, your posts are a “Breath of Sunshine”. Thank You for sharing. Happy Holidays and Contunued Growth and Wellness in 2010.
Aren’t the pink bougainvillea plants beautiful! I’m so happy to see you had such a relaxing and rejuvenating time in So. Cal. Looking at all your pics made me miss it. (That’s where I was born and raised.) You look so vibrant and lovely (grabbing your boob or not)
in that pic, btw.
Aloha, Congrats on winning!
I like your pictures! Please stop by when you get a chance at Mom’s Best Bets!
Thanks for sharing your photos. It’s reminded me of what I need to do for myself.
You are funny…you cracked me up twice this morning! One with the “need my address to send me a jar” marmalade comment…not that it was out of the question. I’ll send you a jar if you really want one! I just love that you said that…it’s something I would say, too.
And two…with the “right boob” comment. I laughed out loud…both times. Thanks…I needed that!
