Another delightful week has come and gone. Mine was a bit on the not perfect side as injuries from the car accident kicked in as soon as I got back to working. I managed to teach the first of the sold-out 4-week cooking program, with the help of my awesome assistant without turning my head or lifting anything. My mom has a saying about how it is best to learn to drive in a snow storm. Teaching a cooking class without neck mobility, well, that qualifies so the next sessions will be a piece of gluten-free cake. And of course I always find the good and though this has been super annoying, I managed to find a super-powered acupuncturist just a hop skip and a jump from my house and within three days with daily treatments, I am near perfect again. No one wants to be perfect anyway.
I am uber duper excited about all the entries so far for the Mindfulness Meditation DVD giveaway. It is one thing that you all have such an interest in meditation. What is even greater, in my humble-limited-neck-mobility opinion is that you are able to recognize that you need to chill out and that meditation will help. When I announce the two lucky winners next Friday, I will also do a little write up on why meditation kicks bum (Yep. I am Canadian and I say bum).
So the recap in reverse and then the Taste of Nature Winner:
Friday: Namaste. Be Mindful When You Say It.
Take a deep breath. That’s pretty much all there is to it.
Thursday: My Berries Are Made of Gold
Can’t go wrong with a post about the health benefits of goldenberries where I also drop unsubtle hints about testicles and spooge.
Wednesday: World Peace Mushroom Soup
The world needs this soup right now. And if not the world, than at least your immune system.
Tuesday: Keeping It Fresh While Away
Some basic, keep it healthy tips for travel.
Monday: Get Stuffed and Squashed
Acorn squash isn’t just decoration anymore.
And (blow those horns, roll that drum) the winners of the Taste of Nature Giveaway:
Congratulations ladies! Great weekend to all.

I’m praying that all is 100% better for you soon!
Wow, I’m STOKED!
I hope you feel much, much better soon. Sending some good, lovin’ vibes your way, girl. Take it easy. =)
Woooohooo, ‘Nicole’ is me! I am so very excited! I am so happy to hear that you are on the mend, it must be great to be able to turn your head again. I am so glad I was able to help you out
take good care!
Wahooo for the winners!!!
Glad that you’re on the mend xoxox
Don’t forget about the benefits of a good massage to reinforce all the acupuncture. Car accidents (whip lash) can cause scar tissue within muscles, and you want to break up those little nasty muscles fibres so they don’t plot their long-term revenge
Meghan, I have had exams and been studying so I haven’t had the chance to read your blog. I’m so sorry you had a car accident! I hope you feel better soon. I think your positive attitude will once again see you through this.
xx
It’s great you are getting treatment ASAP. I had whiplash ten years ago and took a while to deal with it, and now I have some chronic issues with my neck… nothing terrible, but i should have addressed it right away.
Made your veggie pasta sauce for the third time tonight. My husband and I love it!
Yep. All over that! Thank you.
