So happy I found your site as I have 2 doz of this same type of fig that I bought yesterday with intentions of doing a fig/choco combo for a dinner party dessert. I will follow your instructions, then probably drizzle a sweet port wine sauce on top just for an added kick. Thanks for your awesome inspiration!

This looks awesome and EASY! No mixing and cutting, just melt and dip, mmm...
I have one question though, about the coconut oil. In the recipe it's specified that it should be unrefined and cold pressed. I just bought a jar but it didn't say anything about how it was made (just that it's 100 % coconut oil). Probably means that it's not cold pressed... Is that bad? Should I get a new one?

Thanks for any response!

It's not just you! If I could have I would have included Figs in my blog title, but that was just a tad over the top ;-)

I ADORE figs, find them incredibly sensual and magical. I am headed to a friend's house this afternoon to get a bucketful! His tree is covered. Mmmmmmm

He is Italian and makes fig wine, I cannot wait to try it!
