The Healthy Cookie: Unbaked is based on a blog called The Healthy Cookie that I kept during the period from August 2006 when I was first diagnosed with Crohn’s disease, and concluding in June, 2008 upon beginning my practice as a nutritionist. This unedited journal chronicles my two-year adventure from sickness to a place I never could have imagined for myself- optimal health. What is unique in this story is that it is not a reflection. I am not writing it now, looking back at what I went through and what I learned from the experience. In putting this story together in this way, I have done my best to fill in the blanks on some of the lessons learned where, as so often happens, the understandings came later. The Healthy Cookie: Unbaked is my story… So far. |

Come teach a class in NJ!!!
Your retreat sounds amazing, trying to talk my hubby into it. Not sure he wants to be the only guy!
A. I wish I lived in Canada I would totally be there
B. Please please show us pictures of your finished kitchen I would to see it.
I would register for your classes in a heartbeat, if I lived closer… agh… Virginia is too far way. I will have to settle for your cute videos and recipes on your blog. That is, unless you have a cook book coming out soon.
I made your rhubarb butter tonight for the 3rd time — always delicious!!
I will talk to my hubby about the retreat… keeping my fingers crossed!! After reading your e-book, it made me want to go to St. Lucia SO much more.
Tell him to bring a friend then! Shouldn’t let that stand in the way. And who’s to say more enlightened men don’t join up.
Patience! They are coming soon soon soon.
