Uh… believe it or not, we’re almost done. The electrical is done. Plumbing is mostly done, counter tops have arrived (well 50% of them… someone made a mistake on the order and it wasn’t me… hello Lowe’s!). I just came back from four days of bliss at my cottage and went into full force unpacking and reorganizing. In another 24 hours, I hope for this to look more homey like. I have a lot of work ahead of me!

Never in my whole life did I think I would be excited about appliances. I am excited about appliances! Look at that beauty!
Looks like my little sleeping spot is just about ready for me. Bright yellow that Benjamin Moore called Orange Sky. I like to call it Mango. And don’t you love the chandelier over my bed. Make love in the kitchen and dine in the bedroom!

Looking forward to seeing the finished product, though the work in progress photos have been most educational to one who dreams of renovating her own kitchen. I’m starting to like my “vintage” seventies kitchen more and more all the time.

It’s looking beautiful! 17 days – not so bad. Remodeling a kitchen can be a very long undertaking. I can’t wait to see how it looks when it is all done!!
I was almost beginning to think that my former kitchen would have been just fine. Have put in a full days work on it and my first load of dishes are in my brand new dishwasher right now. So worth it!
