Another week of summer has come and gone and wow did this one hold a tea cup of surprises (those are surprises that are small but mighty). I am running away from renovation anti-heaven for three days of yoga on a therapeutic and vinyasa retreat and doing so with a dear sweet friend of mine who has also become a dear sweet client. She is the kind of friend I love because she is so sweet, fun, eco and stylish and the best kind of client ’cause she follows my recommendations and is getting amazing results. And how I do know she sticks with it? If she didn’t she probably wouldn’t want to spend a weekend with me and my evil nutrition eyes. Which reminds me of what I wrote about this week- making smart decisions for the good and benefit of our health. Have a great weekend and get ready for Monday. Surprise time. Eeeks! I am nervous.
Monday: The Good Life Is Here Now (video)
A sweet reminder to keep it simple and enjoy the moment. Working today for tomorrow is a viscious hamster wheel of a cycle.
Tuesday: Probi-what?
The importance of getting a good solid food-based source of teh good guys that help keep our digestion happy and our immune system strong.
Wednesday: Will It Heal or Harm?
The challenge of making good choices when it comes to food- putting our health before our tastebuds.
Thursday: Wrap And Roll To Go (recipe)
You know these cool girls are tasty (just look at the above photo). I now let you in to the inner sanctum that is my cooking classes.
Thursday: Kitchen Renovation: Day 8
The day started off with a warm in my blueberry and ended with my getting in to bed at 8:30. I think I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves.
Friday: A Big Freaking Uphill Climb
The reward (and nausea) that comes from taking on a great physical challenge is unmatched in my opinion. Any kind of challenge is a great source of empowerment and energy. Take it on. I challenge you!
