Aren’t you just loving this fancy shmanzy video put together for me by the talented Chelsea Conway? I feel like it could almost be the pilot for my delightfully hilarious, informative, inspiring and sure-to-be-a-hit tv series (Prodooooooocers… Where are youuuuuuuuu). And don’t even think of comparing me to Rachel Rae- though you wouldn’t be the first.
Nothing nourishes me more than hanging out with great people in the kitchen, cooking great wholesome food and enjoying it together, at the dinner table. Such a rare thing these days. Because I love this so much, I made it the major part of the work that I do.
I can’t even begin to express the fun we have in my kitchen together. I have been running my classes for a little over a year and have met the most interesting people. The groups are always awesome, with great energy, lots of humour and best of all, really delicious food.
The classes start out with my giving a brief intro to the theme of the class and discuss the related nutritional significance. I give a little demo on a technique whether it be making almond milk or sprouting and then we all get cooking. After a mad rush of chopping, grating, steaming, boiling, simmering, baking, and grilling, we sit down together to enjoy a meal truly made in the light-hearted spirit of fun.
And even more exciting than the classes themselves is that my kitchen is being redeco-vated this Summer and will be bigger, better and shiny new. These classes have been awesomely effective in helping inspire the way people view their food, what they eat and how they feel about being in the kitchen and getting more healthy goodness into their beautiful bods.

Totally love the video!! Hehe and I’m in it. Everyone looks so great; Chelsea did such a good job. It makes me smile
awww I love it!! Thanks for linking to my blog too!
My favourite moments include:
-Meghan: “They all look great. Even that one” (Cue much adorable laughter)
-Nicole double fisting the cucumbers
-Me stuffing my face with a cucumber slice while taking a picture
Great job on the video Chelsea!
I know! She did a great job and it turned out awesome.
LOL
One guy, and while you are all holding healthy food, HE appears to be swilling a beer???
Great video! Makes me miss cooking classes. . . I’ll have to come take one of yours!
Better than Rachel Ray!!! And healthier!! Wish I was close enough to take some of your classes. You need to write a cookbook (if you haven’t already)!
Meghan, you are such a natural on camera! And I love your permasmile! It’s infectious!
Ps. Definitely sniping those rice wraps too…
Meghan,
You have the most HAPPIEST and BEAUTIFUL laugh!
your video was DARLING, felt like I was there!
I think you have the best job on the planet!!!
This video looks amazing Meghan!!
As soon as I step back into city limits I will sign up for a class!
So cute! I haven’t used those little plastic bags in over a decade when shopping for produce, and while I’m so used to it now, I still get looks sometimes when the veggies and fruit come rolling down the conveyor belt. But, now that I think about it, not as many looks as I used to get. Progress!
It was tamari
And thank you everyone for your kind words!
Cook book is in process.
When I worked in advertising and was miserable with my job, someone once said to me ‘w-o-r-k’ doesn’t spell ‘f-u-n’. So happy to prove people wrong sometimes.
Thanks for your kind words Meghan!
and thanks everyone…it was fun to shoot and edit. Meghan makes a delightful subject as you can see.
Meghan- where are those producers!??
I hope we can all re-unite and make some more love in the kitchen sometime soon!
Looking forward to seeing the renovated kitchen and to the cook book:)
