This is Nourish Your Soul Week. We are well in to summer and it is time to start enjoying it. This week is dedicated to just that, enjoyment of life. All week I will posting about things- music, books, people, and lots of other goodness that Nourishes my Soul. What nourishes you?
Now I am well aware of the fact that this song verges on crazy super powered cheesy. I am okay with that. I love it. The Joshua Radin album happens to be the exact length of my bike ride so that as I pull up to my beach at the mid-point of my ride before I turn around and come home, this song comes on. Always makes me smile and breathe a little breath of calm.

I think it’s a lovely song. . . just the kind of thing I like, too. Um, and just what is wrong with cheesy, anyway?
We all have these guilty pleasures. Most of just don’t want to admit to them.
The song that nourished my soul is “Unwritten” by Natasha Bedingfield. Always makes me happy.
Music of many types makes me insanely happy. I most love to “dance” to music in my car, belting out the worst of tunes (meaning I don’t sing well). I make waves with my hands, tap on the dash, wiggle in my seat and don’t give a fat xxxx what any one who is watching me thinks. In fact, I think my lack of care makes most people happy, too! Try Zydeco! Yahoo, dat der is sum good tunes, yessir.
Mike- That is serious bravery admitting that one
Isn’t that the theme song to The Hills? Another guilty pleasure perhaps?
LOL. No, I don’t watch The Hills (anymore).
