The preview screening was packed. My friends and I agreed that the people who really need to see the movie aren't those who will. Those who watch it already subscribe to the ideology.

In my review I mentioned the opening scene too and said that the music reminded me of a Tim Burton score.

The rock in Yorkville is one of my favourite places to sit. I occasionally swoon at the clothing in the window across the street while scoffing at the guys in their big sports cars, trying to compensate. Once, I realized that I knew two of the guys, each cruising in their own car. It was shameful. I couldn't believe that people I know actually do that. When will guys realize that a loud, shiny car will not compensate for lack of personality or intelligence, or a small...? Okay, I won't finish that sentence.

Fig! I love it! And I loved the movie. I went at 4 pm on the opening day and the theater was 3/4 full here; I hope it's been staying that way...

Yep there has been a buzz all over the web about it. I've read the Omnivore’s Dilemma and seen Fast Food Nation and Supersize Me. Can't wait for that new one!

Meg, in my opinion, when you give someone a coconut-- well then that's a date ;-D

I'm so with you on this. I was sad that our opening was almost empty. And the people that were there were people like you and me who were totally stoked about it but already knew it all.
We gotta just keep doing what we're doing and hopefully lead by example.
Have a good weekend dear!!

I am looking forward to the movie. It is an excellent point that the people who need to see it won't be rushing to the theatre.

As an aside, I used to sit on the giant rock in Yorkville and people watch! I do miss T.O at times :-)
