As promised, this week I made up for my lack of recipes last week. Here is this week’s recap in case you missed a day here and there. Hope you are having a great weekend.
Monday: Nori and Sprouts In Bed Together (Recipe)
These rolls, made with fresh veggies and home grown sprouts are an easy summer, uncooked meal with no clean-up (and you can even avoid using dishes too). I show off the benefits of seaweed and also offer a delicious recipe for a Sunflower and Ginger pate that can replace the rice in these raw rolls.
Tuesday: Coke Makes People Fat (Updated)
Did this ever make trouble! The Coke peeps came after me trying to defend the drink after I provided an image of how much sugar is in a can of Coke and provided some info around what happens inside the body after you drink it. If you haven’t seen the updated version, check it out as I include the letter from Coke with my comments.
Wednesday: Muffins For Melanie (Recipe)
The day you become a little envious for the sweetness of my friend and holistic therapist Melanie Leeder, giving me a massage dockside followed up with a delicious breakfast of Banana Banana Banana muffins. Reliving a weekend of great women, cycling and just getting away.
Thursday: If A Superhero Had Balls (Recipe + Video)
At the suggestion of a reader, I decided to create a recipe using a lot of the super-foods we collected for the Green Smoothie Cleanse. These little balls that I named Superhero’s Balls are amazing clusters of nutritious power. They are raw, easy to make and incredibly delicious. I got some great comments on what type of Superhero you would be.
Friday: Smell The Flowers, Pick The Berries
Summer solstice weekend upon and it is time to reap the benefits of the goodness that summer brings, local produce! I provide a list of resources to help you find a farmer’s market in your area to get you out and enjoying all that is in season… and I share my trip through the woods with Josh.

I’m gonna have to check out these recipes – that muffin looks amazing
