Last time around we kicked off the 3-day Green Smoothie Cleanse with a conference call. This time, we are doing things a little differently.  It is difficult to stay connected, on a group cleanse of this nature because we are scattered all over the world. But I want to make sure you are feeling supported.

So if you want to be kept in the loop come cleanse day (just four days from now!) then all you have to do is subscribe to my twitter feed, have the messages sent to wherever you like to get your messages- whether RSS or even sent right to your mobile phone and you will be kept in the loop with sweet little tips, tricks, reminders, recipes, quotes, and lots more green goodness for the three days of the cleanse.

We will be just a message away from each other and all the other cleansers. So to participate in the cleanse, here is what you have to do.

1. Register and receive your 44-page Green Smoothie Cleanse Tutorial

2. Post a comment here if you want to win some of these sweet little prizes.

3. Subscribe to my twitter feed.

4. Get ready to Smoothie Cleanse!

Much peace, great health, green love and a little smoothie cleanse iron will to you all!

I like the Twitter idea Meghan. Good one. I’ll check in for tips for the next time I cleanse.

  2. Can I propose a Twitter hashtag so that it’s easier to track? I know that if there’s a hashtag I can do a search by that tag and have the search results fed to me by RSS. Otherwise, your tweets get lost in the shuffle

Of course, this is for everyone’s convenience.

    Hashtag suggestions: “#greencleanse”, “smoothiecleanse” “#GSC”, “#cleansewithmeghan”.

…the shorter the better, and one people understand.

You know how some tweets have “#” before a word? In the context of Twitter, that symbol is called a hashtag. Its function is to serve as a way of flagging certain topics and making them more easily searchable. It makes it easy for people who aren’t following you to follow a particular topic, and keep track of what people are saying about a particular topic.

Say you want to search a term and you go to http://search.twitter.com/ You can type in the word, or the word next to the hashtag, and you’ll get a page of results.

The results page can be subscribed to via RSS so that one can easily follow the topic.

Okay! Just got the twitter thing figured out… I think. I am feeling good day 2 of pre-cleanse. Really good! Looking forward to my smoothie meal this evening. Today’s snack is yummy – spinach & pineapple & cuke & zucchini & celery & goji berries & avacado &…hmmm. Perhaps I should be simplifying!

Nah! Hope you are having a good day!

  5. Angelica says:

Ha, this is perfect! I just signed up for twitter… to follow the musician Meatloaf. Erm.

  6. I haven’t a clue what a hashtag is? Is that like hash brownies? or Hashbrowns? Where does that go in the tweet?
