Hi Meghan,
I purchased this e-tutorial in the fall, and finally read it last night. I see that your handy lunar calendar goes until April 2010, so I've found one for the entire 2010 year. To start this program, I gather that I should start on the next new moon, which is February 14, 2010 (according to your calendar), with flax. Please let me know if I've got this right. Thanks!!

Hey Meghan,
I've been interested in natural hormone balancing for awhile, but I haven't been able to find such information before now. I'm 25 and I have polycystic ovarian syndrome and I have not menstruated without the use of birth control pills since about five years ago. Too bad I can't come see you, since I live in Florida, otherwise we would have met a long time ago! Would this guide help someone like me? Otherwise, do you have a way of doing virtual consultations?

Thank you!

Help! I've been to several Health Food stores and I can't find any vegan EPO! It all comes in gelatin capsules. Is there a vegan EPO that you recommend? Where would you buy it from?

Aryn- That's a great question and it sort of has to depend on the individual. For the first couple of months I would suggest laying off the flax oil for those couple weeks and perhaps subbing in a cold pressed walnut or hemp oil- so you are still getting the omega 3's without the phytoestrogen effects.

Meghan -- Do you stop adding flax oil in your smoothies during the EPO weeks?

I'm very excited about this -- I took EPO regularly during high school/college and it greatly diminished my cramps/PMS symptoms, but I had never heard of alternating it with flax.

Meghan, pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeease do a coffee detox tutorial! I have to say, in many ways I love coffee - or the ritual of coffee - and yet I can really feel that it's not helping my fatigue and achiness. I'm down to 1-2 cups a day (5 years ago it was probably almost a pot a day), but I have trouble imagining giving it up completely - it's almost been part of my identity, and so central a part of my social and family interactions. Actually I'd love to hear what you have to say about making healthy eating changes and how you deal with it when you're out - visiting family, meeting friends, etc - those seem to be the hardest times for me.

Sounds like Jennifer R. has a progressive doctor. Those are rare.

Robin: If your doctor is an expert in bio-identical hormones he or she might also be able to answer your questions regarding lunar cycles, etc. Another expert on bio-identical hormones is this guy: http://www.drpettle.com/

Meghan: Hope you're having a fantastic trip.

Meghan, this is so timely! I went to the doctor a few weeks ago and she mentioned the cycle of the moon coinciding with the menstrual cycle and put me on flax oil and EPO (different times)... I am one to read all I can so I ordered your tutorial to learn more. Thanks!
