Well my sweet Green Smoothie Cleansers. This is it. The time has come. Put down those forks. Put away those plates. For the next three days all we need is our blender and a glass (and maybe a knife and cutting board if we didn’t get ourselves sorted ahead of time).

As you saw in the video my mom and I dress the same. As you also saw in the video is that I am all shopped, washed, chopped, soaked, stored and ready to rock and roll this smoothie cleanse.

This, my friends, is a pre-blended 3-Day Green Smoothie Diet

I can’t even begin to tell you how amazed I am by the beautifully positive and enthusiastic response I have received. This is only one of many group supported programs I will be offering in the next year and I can’t wait to see how this grows.

We had a great kick-off conference call this morning. I was so pleased that so many of you joined. It’s always nice to have that personal connection with you. If you missed the call or would like to listen again, Listen To The Conference Call here.

I am so honoured that you have chosen me to help guide you to a healthier life. We all know how much information is out there, and how much crapalicious product sponsored advertorial content is around. I trust that the support you have shown through your participation and your reading of this blog is, at least in part, is due to my offering of truthful, honest, unbiased and simplified information about health and good food. This is my passion. This is what healed me.

Over the next three days, I am not simply coaching you along and offering advice, I am doing it with you. (cue the celebratory music) When you get cranky from watching someone eat a chocolate bar in front of you, I probably am too. When you have an urge to toss it all in and ask yourself what the point is, read this, and remember I will have those moments too, and when you think you can’t drink one more meal, I say YES YOU CAN! Because I am. We are in this together!!! cue the wild cheering, hooting, hollering, high-fiving, back slapping, embracing, and…. and…. there it is. THERE IT IS!!! the musical whir of the almighty blender! Green Smoothie Cleanse here we come!

And for you last minuters. The lastest last minute has arrived. Sign up already!

And if you loved that my mom and I were dressed the same and want to join our ‘Nice Piece’ team or another Making Love In The Kitchen team. You can get your own T-shirt here! Pick the style, colour and size!

Enjoy your dinner tonight, and tomorrow and I’ll be thinking of you as I drink up in the morning.

This sounds so fun…and exactly what I have been thinking about for myself. This was just the thing to push me over the edge. I was literally just thinking…I would love to do a fast or cleanse or something! I just didn’t know how to do it or where to get started! WOW! Is it too late to sign up and get the info packet from you? Is it a paper document or something you email out? Let me know…I would LOVE to join you! I can go out tonight and do my shopping ;)

    Hi again Meghan.
What a wonderful, informative conference call this morning. Sorry I had to skip out early. I had to get to the Farmer’s Market before all the pea shoots were gone. Thanks again for setting up the call, and thanks too for putting it online so I can catch the end.

Hey beautiful! Since I was not able to get through to the call this morning, I have 2 questions and thought I’d ask them here so others can benefit from the answers as well.
    1. Where do you purchase your pea shoots? I checked my co-op and could not find any pea sprouting seeds. (If you get them locally, is there an online source you trust where I could order them?)
    2. In the tutorial you give instructions for prepping all the food. When you say to let greens soak in cold water and then drip dry, -do not spin-, how do you accomplish this? Do you hang them somewhere or just leave them on the counter to “drip dry?” What is the best method?
    Thanks sweets!

  7. How great that you have put this all together! I am sure many people will benefit from this 3 day cleanse. I drink a green smoothie every day, have for years. I just don’t feel as energetic if I miss even one day!

Good luck on the cleanse everyone!

    -Ali :)

Thanks Meghan, this helps a bunch!!
I just looked in the mirror and realized I had green smoothie “wings” (not a full green smoothie mustache but on the upper corners of my lip) So hot.
One more question, sorry! When the greens are drying on a seive, colander, etc, are you keeping them in the fridge or out on the counter? I would imagine the fridge may take longer for them to dry?

  9. [...] the cleanse, get your group together, get the shirts because really- is there anything cuter than shopping for kale in matching t-shirts? I don’t think [...]

  10. Coconutgal- I hope you are feeling and bit better and so sorry you couldn’t get through to the conference call. Was it a technical thing?

I buy my peashoots from a local growing operation called Toronto Sprouts. This won’t help you much. You could always go with alfalfa sprouts which you can do yourself. Pea shoots requires trays of earth- which my sweet 600 sq feet isn’t quite set-up to accommodate… yet. Both pea shoot and sunflower sprouts are equally wonderful or just any greenish looking organic sprout you can find.

With my greens- some I’ll let dry in my dish drying rack, others sit in aseive over a bowl, a few will laze about in a colander and the others I’ll put in my salad spinner and just let sit so the water can drip through.

Hope this answers your questions :) Have a beautiful Sunday

  11. Thanks for your cheerleading Ali!

  12. I just let them sit on the counter and then put them in a bag with a towel to mop up the extra moisture- and then into the fridge.
